What types of alterations do you do?
Formal Wear – Bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom gowns, dresses, Mother of the Bride and Groom attire, men's suits and designer gowns.
Do I need an appointment for a fitting?
Yes, We are appointment only including pick up. Please call to schedule your appointment When you get your dress and your shoes in your hands. We have a strict cancelation policy.
We have a drop box so you can drop of items at any time if you do not need to try them on, please place them in a plastic bag with your information and instructions. We check the box every morning.
How long will alterations take to be completed?
Timing will depend on our schedule and the amount of time you provide before your event. We try our best to complete regular clothing alterations within a week.
How many fitting appointments are needed?
The number of appointments can vary based on the complexity of work needing to be done. Generally, 3 for bridal gowns, 2 for formal wear.
What do I need to bring to my fitting appointment(s)?
You need bring the undergarments and your shoes that you will be wearing with your attire in order to obtain the proper fit. If you don’t have the undergarments and shoes you will be wearing we will not be able to proceed with the fitting and you will be charged a fitting fee.
Do I need to try on my clothing when I pick them up?
Yes you need to try on any formal wear with the undergarments and shoes you wore at the original fitting before you take it. We will not guarantee the work if you do not try on and approve the alterations at time of pick up.
Do you press and/or steam the garments?
Absolutely. Every item that is altered receives a press or steam, there is additional charges for wedding gown and formal dresses to be pressed.
How much do alterations cost?
Our goal is to perfect the fit of your garment while staying within your budget. The cost of alterations is based on the complexity and difficulty of each task, so an alterations specialist will need to see you in the garment to discuss fit enhancements and options. We will give you pricing before we proceed with the alterations.
Payment for alterations is due at the time of your pick up. Additional charges apply to rush orders (needed within 14 for days for formal wear. Remember to budget the cost of alterations and bustling when choosing the gown of your dreams. For example, you might get a great deal on a clearance style that is not the correct size, but complex alterations could cost the amount you saved. And if your gown has a long train, bustling is necessary to move freely and comfortably during your reception.

How quickly are online orders fulfilled and shipped?
All orders are fulfilled and shipped within 2 business days as long as they are in stock. There are no overnight or rush orders.
